Whittington CE Primary School is looking to recruit a Class Teacher (KS2) to join our team for September 2026. We welcome applications from all teachers (including ECT) and are looking for an enthusiastic, committed teacher with outstanding teaching practice.
- Experience of working with children aged 4-11
- Experience of the primary/first school phase
- Teaching qualification
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
Whittington CE Primary is a single form entry Church of England School and our motto is 'To love, to learn, to flourish - together', which summarises the ethos of our school.
We are looking for candidates who wish to teach in Key Stage 2 and the post would suit either early careers or experienced teachers, who are able to demonstrate high quality teaching with exceptionally high expectations for every child.
By joining the tea, the successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively to fulfil the school's strong Christian vison and values.
The role will include delivering the KS2 curriculum, planning and preparing engaging and challenging lessons, assessing and monitoring pupil progress, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participating in school events and extracurricular activities.
