Abercrombie Primary School is a lovely, welcoming and well‑regarded school at the heart of our community, where children’s happiness and progress sit at the centre of everything we do. The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint an excellent Year 3 class teacher to join us as part of a job share.

We are seeking an ambitious, inspirational and dedicated teacher who will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to secure outstanding progress for all pupils. You will be joining a lively, supportive team of committed professionals who care deeply about children’s learning and enjoyment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • works confidently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
  • is hard‑working, child‑centred and passionate about making a real difference
  • works effectively alongside experienced colleagues to help drive our exciting curriculum and ensure our offer to children is exceptional

We can offer you:

  • a work environment that is fun, friendly and genuinely welcoming
  • opportunities to be fully involved in the life of the school and to develop your skills in a supportive setting
  • relevant, high‑quality training both in‑house and externally

If you are enthusiastic, committed and ready to contribute to a thriving school community, we would be delighted to hear from you.

If you are interested in the post then we would be very happy to hear from you. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged so that you can meet our wonderful children and staff and also be sure that our school is the right fit for you. Please contact our School Business Managers, Jenny Mellors/Lucy Wright to arrange this at your convenience.
