Are you an ambitious educator ready to lead and inspire across the curriculum?

At Holly House, we’re a community that builds ambition to achieve potential. We’re seeking a creative, resilient Teacher (KS2–KS3) to join our specialist team supporting pupils aged 7–14 with SEMH needs.

You’ll teach a broad primary and K.S.3 curriculum across KS2–KS3 and have the opportunity to lead a subject area (to be agreed) — shaping its intent, implementation and impact so progression is clear and expectations are high. You’ll see your impact daily: more pupils accessing learning, regulating emotions and achieving ambitious EHCP outcomes. As a pastoral form tutor, you’ll provide daily check ins and restorative support, working with families and professionals to personalise learning and celebrate success.

You’ll have access to targeted CPD (e.g., Thrive / Thinking Matters), focused coaching and peer planning time.

We offer

  • Small class sizes and excellent resources
  • TLR for subject leadership
  • Ongoing CPD and space to innovate alongside a collaborative, experienced team
  • The chance to shape lives and see your impact every day

You are

  • QTS/QTLS with strong KS2 practice and confidence to extend into KS3
  • Able to teach a broad primary curriculum using inclusive, evidence informed approaches (structured small steps, rich talk/reasoning, practical enquiry and problem solving) and to lead on a subject area across school
  • Skilled at adapting for SEMH/SEND, using EHCPs and evidence informed interventions
  • A reflective, emotionally resilient team player who contributes to the wider life of the school

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. To arrange a visit prior to application, please call 01246 450530 to make an appointment.
