We are looking for a Class Teacher to join the exciting and vibrant New North Academy in Islington, London
Start date: 1st September 2025
An exciting chapter is continuing at New North Academy and we are looking to appoint a Class Teacher to bring their passion and creativity to our successful school. Our school is driven by our five key values - Showing Respect, Taking Responsibility, Being Fair, Enabling Success and Nurturing Community.
New North is an exciting and vibrant primary school in the heart of Islington. We boast really fantastic facilities, including an outdoor classroom, a purpose-built dance studio, sports and drama halls, equipped with professional sound and lighting and a building that provides lots of space and light to support learning and working.
We are looking for teachers who:
- are experienced in either of these key stages; EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- are passionate about supporting and developing children to reach their potential and who believe that they can.
- have a secure understanding of how pupils learn.
- are dedicated, hardworking and will go the extra mile for their pupils.
- have a sound understanding of the principles of good teaching.
- are reflective and strive to be the best teacher they can be.
- value feedback and act upon it to keep getting better.
- have their QTS
