The Governors at St Philip’s C of E Primary school are looking to appoint an inspiring and hardworking Classroom Teacher. The role is part time at 0.5FTE and working patterns will be discussed at interview.
This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027 in the first instance but there may be the possibility of extension for suitable candidates, depending on school funding.

The successful candidate will be a strong teacher with excellent subject knowledge who actively pursues opportunities for CPD.
We are looking for a teacher who is able to work in partnership with parents and bring that little something extra to our wonderful school. Someone who understands the needs of our children and will go the extra mile to give all our children the love and care that they need. Someone fun, who understands the emotional needs that our children present with.
Applicants should state curriculum strengths, areas of expertise or additional qualifications and skills and Key Stage preferences in their application. The role involves subject leadership of a curriculum area which is likely to be Maths or Geography but we are happy to consider candidates with other specialist subjects if they are able to meet the requirements of the person specification.
ECT’s, those completing final placements and recently qualified teachers are most welcome to apply, as are colleagues with more experience.
The successful candidate will be someone who is keen to support our Pupil Leadership groups and contribute to the wider curriculum including our after-school club offer and will help us foster precious church links.

Interview process:
Lesson observations – Monday 8th June
Candidates who are successful in their lesson observations will then be invited for interview on Tuesday 9th June.
