What You’ll Be Doing
- Patrolling our district to ensure parking regulations are followed.
- Providing friendly, helpful advice to residents, businesses and visitors.
- Issuing Penalty Charge Notices where necessary using handheld technology.
- Helping to reduce congestion and improve air quality.
- Checking signage, lines and car park equipment and reporting any issues.
- Playing an important role in keeping the district safe and accessible
Who We’re Looking For

- Someone comfortable using handheld digital devices.
- A full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work as there is a requirement to travel to other locations within the county of Leicestershire.
- Some basic technological skills would be an advantage, as this role requires the use of a handheld device to log and maintain accurate data.
You don’t need previous enforcement experience as full training is provided.
Your working week will include some Saturday, Sunday and early evening working on a rota basis, there will be an enhanced rate for working Sunday and there may be some opportunities for overtime.
Your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers, and there is a requirement to wear a uniform and necessary equipment when patrolling so please consider this before you apply.
Applicants for the role will be subject to a standard DBS check.
