An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within the Events Team at South Derbyshire District Council.

We are seeking a highly organised individual with a creative mindset and driven by a genuine enthusiasm for events, to join our compact yet dynamic team. In this role, you will be accountable to the Events, Arts, and Marketing Officer and will work closely with the Council Chair. The postholder will also support the organisation, administration, and delivery of key Council events such as the Festival of Leisure, the Swadlincote annual Christmas Lights Switch and the summer Music in the Park events.

You will be a creative and innovative individual who is adaptable and personable and have knowledge of working in a council setting or understanding of the Chair’s role.
