JOB TITLE: Children’s Services Administrator
Hours: 37 per week
Interview dates: September 2026
Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an Administrator with a “can do” attitude, to provide administrative support to our Children’s Services Team. If you have a keen eye for detail, good customer service skills and able to act with tact and diplomacy – this could be the role for you!
About the role…
• Part of supportive team working at pace.
• To support the service with administrative duties including, post, emails and phone calls
• Support the team with tasks to ensure a high quality service to Children and Families
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Costs for the DBS are covered by Rutland County Council.
About you…
• Good IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams and bespoke databases
• Able to balance an ever-changing workload, whilst keeping to deadlines
• Have good communication skills, with the ability to relate to individuals at all levels

Salary range
- £25,583 - £25,989 per year
