Job Title: Childcare Worker - Little Acorns Nursery
Responsible To: Headteacher/Early Years Lead/Playcare Leader
Salary Grade: Band D, scale point 6-7 £25,989 - £26,403 (£18,794 - £19,093 Actual)
Contract: This is a part time, permanent contract. This post is 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Start Date: As soon as possible

The Childcare Worker must:
Be kind and caring and committed to promoting a love of learning.

Possess sound common sense and good communication skills.
Have the ability to work and communicate with children, particularly supporting our youngest with the lunch time routines.
Work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise activities and maintain the health, safety, welfare, good conduct and safeguarding of pupils, having regard to special or additional needs.
To undertake the general supervision of pupils.
To provide welfare and supervision of all pupils as instructed by the senior member of classroom staff.
The organisation and management of large numbers of pupils.
To supervise classes of children inside school during wet lunchtimes.
To maintain discipline and to promote adherence to the School's Behaviour and Anti Bullying Policies.
