We're looking for an outstanding individual to lead the administrative function of the Chief Executive's Office and play a pivotal role supporting the Chief Executive in their duties as Head of Paid Service.

Your role:
- Lead the strong and effective administrative function of the Chief Executive’s Office, in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Manage relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including our Leader’s Office, place partners, government agencies, community organisations, and local businesses, to foster collaboration and drive positive change.
- Provide direct policy support to the Chief Executive and lead the organisation of high profile visits, events and conferences.
- Lead and manage a small team, including the Chief Executive Support Officer and National Management Trainees.
- Proactively manage the Chief Executive’s diary, communications and correspondence, with a solutions-oriented and responsive approach.
- Deputise for the Head of Chief Executive’s Office, Policy and Corporate Performance where appropriate.

Requirements:
- You are a proactive, responsive and flexible individual, with a passion for driving positive change within the community.
- You have exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- You have proven experience of managing office functions including correspondence, diary management and events.
- You possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- You have demonstrable experience of policy development and a strong understanding of policy issues across local and national government.
- You have a Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in a related discipline.

Salary range
- £42,839 - £46,142 per year
