Casual Grounds Maintenance/ Gardener Salthill Depot – Clitheroe Reference: COM946 Pay: For 16 and 17 year olds the rate of pay is £7.55 per hour, plus an additional 12.07% allowance in lieu of holiday entitlement. For those aged 18+ the rate of pay will be £12.60 per hour in line with the Living Wage Foundation’s Real Living Wage, plus an additional 12.07% allowance in lieu of holiday entitlement. Hours: No guaranteed hours ** Please note that there are no guaranteed hours for this post** Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will carry out general maintenance of parks, playing fields and other open spaces throughout the Ribble Valley. Main tasks will be using a leaf blower, grass cutting and strimming. Experience of working in a horticultural setting, grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance and associated groundwork is desirable. You will need to demonstrate an awareness of Health and Safety regulations in relation to chemicals, machinery and working practices. An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken once an offer of employment is made.
