If yes, we have the perfect role for you!

Our SEND Service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Casework Manager (14–25) to join our amazing team and help transform outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

About the Role:

As a SEND Casework Manager, you will lead one of our highly motivated 14–25 casework teams, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality, statutory SEND services.

  • Identifying service gaps, resolving disputes, and preventing escalation to litigation

This is a key leadership role where you will influence practice, support innovation, and ensure families remain at the heart of decision-making.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and confident leader with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for young people with SEND.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience working in multi-agency environments, ideally within SEND services
  • Strong knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the 0–25 SEND Code of Practice
  • Proven people-management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • A values-driven approach, committed to child-centred, family-focused practice

About the Team:

Southwark Council’s Children’s and Adults Services are consistently rated “Good” by Ofsted, reflecting our strong practice and commitment to continuous improvement.

Our SEND service is forward-thinking and collaborative, with a strong focus on:

  • Co-developing services with families and key stakeholders
  • Investing in staff development and leadership capability
