    Working as part The Planning Team that won Best Council Service Team at The Municipal Journal (The MJ) Awards in 2022 and were one of the 1st authorities to adopt the use of AI for validation. Innovation and use of technology are a key part of our ambition.

    About the Opportunity

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a planning team where there is a focus on both speed and quality to ensure we deliver for local people. You will work on a range of applications spanning regeneration schemes in IIford to complex housing schemes.

    The role also involves making delegated decisions with management and support to more junior members of the team.

    This full-time permanent role offers the flexibility of working within our offices in Ilford (Usually 2 days a week) and working from home, allowing you that extra freedom and work life balance.
