    About the Post:

    The role will include: -

    Facilitating, scheduling and recording of sensitive and confidential Safeguarding meetings, at which family members are often present, co-ordination of statutory information, maintaining records and dealing with a range of safeguarding enquiries in support of Children’s Services, vital work protecting the most vulnerable children in the borough.

    You will hold a level 2 qualification, have a business support background or a keen interest in developing within this area. Applicants should be aware that there may be exposure to emotionally charged information in connection with vulnerable children/adults and a level of personal resilience is required. Support is provided via regular one to one meetings and de-briefings.

    You will be flexible in your approach to ensure the overall service objectives are achieved, be an excellent team player and willing to make a solid contribution to the smooth running of the service.
