Business Support Officer

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Economic Development Team that leads on the Council’s economic growth agenda. This is a demanding yet varied and rewarding role.

The post holder will be involved in economic development projects in town centres, the rural economy and tourism sector. We are looking to develop initiatives to help people into work, help them start new businesses, help existing businesses to grow, and deliver opportunities for professionals and businesses to connect, collaborate, and share insights. The post holder will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of council run car parks.

To be successful in this role you must have very good interpersonal and IT skills. You will also have a confident methodical and organised approach to your workload and team resources.
