    Redbridge Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are looking to recruit a Business Support Administrator on a full time, permanent basis. The post holder will provide a high-quality administrative support service to support the MHST and provide occasional support to other teams in the Education & Inclusion service.

    This is a unique opportunity to join our growing MHST in Redbridge. We welcome applications from business administration professionals with an interest in supporting the mental health of children and young people.

    What is an MHST?

    MHSTs are a national initiative in response to the Government's plans to transform children and young people's mental health provision.

    MHSTs have three core functions:

    • Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild-moderate mental health difficulties
    • Supporting the senior mental health lead in the delivery of their whole school/college approach
    • Giving timely advice to school and college staff and signposting to external specialist services

    The successful candidate will be highly motivated and be able to:

    • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
    • Contribute to data management for the MHST.
    • Handle confidential and/or sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
    • Engage constructively with and deal with a wide range of people in person and by telephone.
    • Be adaptable and receptive to new ideas and willing to adjust to new work priorities and demands.
