
Business Support Co-ordinator
Join Our Business and Executive Support Team!
We are excited to announce that a full-time position has become available within the Business and Executive Support Team (BEST), supporting the School Organisation Team. This team is integral to the County Council's statutory duty to ensure sufficient school places for children in Staffordshire.
Flexibility is required in this role to support other areas within the wider Business and Executive Support Service as needed. This will allow you to develop your skills and experience a variety of work opportunities across the service.
Work Environment
There is an expectation for both office and home working based on local agreement and business needs.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Support Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Collating and analysing demographic data, such as the number of children born across Staffordshire.
- Producing and analysing pupil projections to identify the required number of school places.
- Maintaining accurate records of school capacities.
- Monitoring surplus places.
- Ensuring the appropriate publication of statutory proposals for significant changes to schools
We are looking for you to have,
- Strong attention to detail: A commitment to ensuring the quality and accuracy of data is paramount.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also being capable of working independently using one's own initiative.
- Experience in gathering and analysing data from multiple sources, demonstrating a thorough understanding of data interpretation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Proficiency in utilizing advanced features and functions of Microsoft Excel to manage, analyse, and present data effectively.
- Expertise in using mapping software for the creation of maps and manipulation of geographical data.

Salary range
- £26,409 - £29,093 per year
