About Us

An exciting business support opportunity has come up within the ATTACH team.

ATTACH stands for 'Attaining Therapeutic Attachments for Children'. The ATTACH team offer advice, consultation and direct work with families. The ATTACH team is a multi-disciplinary therapeutic team, supporting parents, carers and young people in improving attachment relationships.

The team includes Clinical Psychologists, Social Work Senior Practitioners and an Educational Psychologist; who work with adoptive, special guardianship and foster care families in Oxfordshire. They run a number of groups for foster carers, adopters and young people to attend, as well as individual work, including therapeutic sessions.

About the Role

As the ATTACH Team Support Assistant, you are key in providing business support to the Psychologists and Senior Practitioners. This includes arranging appointments, coordinating ATTACH referrals and allocations into the team, organising the duty rota and maintaining spreadsheets. You will be supporting practitioners directly, which includes answering telephone calls, team inbox management, diary management, sending out appointment letters and relevant correspondence, preparation of the group sessions, financial processes, taking notes of internal meetings and responsible for co-ordinating income generation through the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, who has a good level of IT skills (which includes Microsoft Office) and good communication skills. You will need to build excellent working relationships with professionals and members of the public. You need to be a highly organised individual, and have a customer focused approach, so experience in working in a business support environment is essential.

We have a dedicated training and induction plan for all new starters where we will develop your knowledge, skills and expertise in business administration in order for you to be successful in your role.

We can offer some flexible working - there will be a requirement to attend the Union Street office 3 days per week, to sit alongside the team.

The post is full time and permanent, to start as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the role or the team, please get in contact with Cat Branton on 07873700233.

Your office base may be subject to change as we are currently transitioning between temporary and permanent office locations due to the closure of County Hall. If this is applicable to you, you will be notified, but no reimbursement will apply in respect of travel.
