Join our busy Children in Care Business Support Team and play a key part in supporting social workers who make a real difference every day.
Working within a close-knit team, this is a rewarding opportunity where your contributions can truly make a difference in the lives of children, young people, and families.
This is an office-based role, however, following a successful training period, some hybrid working may be considered.
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00–17:30
- Friday: 09:00–17:00
What will you be doing?
This is a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting requests such as passports for children and young people, sending correspondence, booking transport and accommodation, and processing invoices.
- Providing a comprehensive and confidential range of effective administrative support.
- Minute-taking during professional discussions to ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Managing financial processes

About you
- As an experienced administrator or business support officer you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and understand the importance of confidentiality.
- You're confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other IT applications.
- You enjoy working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals.
- You're positive, dynamic, and solution-focused, with experience in business support or administration
- You will be highly organised, capable of managing and prioritising conflicting tasks, and will have a sharp attention to detail
- Experience in minute-taking and touch typing is desirable, as this will be a key part of your role.

Salary range
- £25,302 - £27,191 per year
