    The Business and Executive Support team are looking for an experienced part time administrator (22 hours per week) to provide support within their Specialist Teaching Support Service Team

    The team comprises of the Deaf/Hearing Inclusion Team, Vision Inclusion Team and the Autism Inclusion Team. The Service supports children and young people aged 0-25 with a diagnosed hearing impairment or vision impairment; or a working diagnosis of autism. Support can be given at home, in early years settings, mainstream and special schools. This support can continue into Further Education through our ASSIST Team (Post-16 sensory support in Staffordshire).

    This post is a fixed term position until 31.08.2026

    Main Responsibilities

    You will be required to provide support by maintaining records, processing applications within regulatory timescales and providing a frontline service for all queries for the service area.

    Other duties include filing, photocopying and postal duties, word processing, preparing and distributing paperwork in addition to liaising with customers, contractors and partners.

    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for you to have,

    • Good communication skills to engage our customers and Administration teams to share best practise using digital solutions where appropriate to improve processes.
    • An ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and to manage changes at short notice, with a flexible approach.
    • Strong IT skills with a knowledge of SCC systems or similar packages for data management.
    • Good administrative organisational skills
