Business Start Up Advisor

Enterprising Barnsley is looking to recruit a Business Adviser to work in our Launchpad Team. The team has successfully been delivering business support to start up businesses in Barnsley, and small businesses with under ten employees, for the past ten years. The position will initially be recruited on a fixed term contract until March 2027, however there indications that the funding for this post will be extended beyond that and these are currently subject to negotiation.

Barnsley Council places great emphasis on supporting its local businesses as outlined in its Barnsley 2030 publication. It is committed to building a strong local economy and this post plays a key role in helping local people start a business, and helping existing small businesses to grow.
