
Business Administration Apprentice - Edgewick Community Primary School
Edgewick Community Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, kind and customer service focused Admin Apprentice. As a new apprentice, you will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the school, offering guidance and assistance in person and by telephone.
You will provide clerical support to the school, and members of the Leadership Team under the guidance of the Admin Officer, School Business Manager and Headteacher.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have great customer service skills or have a passion for customer service.
- Have an awareness of office procedures and equipment and the roles of a receptionist and clerical assistant.
- To be able (with training) to maintain office administrative systems
- To receive visitors in a welcoming way, answer queries, and cope with parents, carers & visitors according to guidelines set.
- Work as part of a team
Our apprentices will work alongside experienced staff to gain skills related to their job whilst also studying towards a Level 3 School Administrator Apprenticeship. Who are we looking for?Hours Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm or 12pm to 4pm – can be negotiated at interview.
Wage: £8.60 per hour for the first 12 months then NMW for the remaining time.
Term time only plus training days (39 weeks).
16 months plus 3 months EPA.
