The Governing Body of this small, vibrant school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised School Bursar for 11 hours a week, to join our team and start as soon as possible. This is a key role in managing the school’s financial operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the school’s budget and financial planning.
  • Overseeing payroll and procurement processes.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and producing reports for the Headteacher and Governors.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.
  • Liaising with external agencies, suppliers, and auditors.

The right candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to: work well in a team; apply their own initiative; and be efficient.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team, who work well together within a strong Christian ethos.
