    Located right in the heart of the Wembley regeneration area and working throughout Brent, we require a newly qualified Building Surveyors at RBI Class 1.

    You will be responsible for delivering an effective Building Control Service to our customers on various domestic, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will be expected to take responsibility and administer the surveying requirements for an area of the borough. You will be expected to work on your own dealing with all aspects of building control / regulations inquires and tasks and assist in the supervision of other officers.

    The Person

    We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, flexible, forward thinking, ambitious and customer focussed surveyors who can apply their recent Building Control knowledge and experience and are looking for their next step up.

    You will be registered under a credited institute and be working your way to becoming a chartered professional.

    You will need to be an effective communicator with all stakeholders, technically astute with the ability to promote and represent the Building Control service.

    You will support and assist the Service in delivering projects on time, while ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.

    You will generally work without supervision, but where appropriate you will be required to supervise other junior members.

    You will need a full driving license and the use of a car to undertake the duties.

    You will receive car mileage allowance for using your car and a parking permit to use within the borough.

    You will be encouraged to work towards the BSR Class 2(E/F) and to undertake ongoing CPD training via the myLABC programme and your own Professional
    Institutes requirements.
