Employed by High Peak Borough Council.

We have an opportunity to join our Revenues & Benefits Team as a Benefits Officer, supporting residents across High Peak and Staffordshire Moorlands.

You’ll play an important part in delivering our Benefits Service, helping to assess Housing Benefit and Local Council Tax Reduction claims, processing changes in circumstances and supporting customers to understand and manage their claims. You’ll work alongside colleagues across the service and liaise with external organisations where needed.

You’ll need a positive, flexible approach, a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work accurately with detailed information. In return, you’ll join a supportive team in a varied role where you can develop your knowledge and experience.
