Job Title: Assurance & Monitoring Executive
Starting Salary: £34,098 progressing to £37,231 per annum (pro rata for part time) - Pay award pending
Hours: 37
Location: Farnham House, Stevenage – 2 days minimum. Hybrid work from home this is expected to be flexible to meet business need.
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 2 years

The Assurance & Monitoring team lead on programme management across many of the key funded delivery programmes. We work with a wide range of partners, stakeholders and applicants to monitor delivery of contracts and ensuring compliance.

About the role

This role will provide support the Assurance and Monitoring Manager by providing a range of data monitoring and administrative activity in relation to the monitoring and assurance across Hertfordshire Futures funded programmes.

  • Be responsible for collation of management information and data extracting, monitor review and produce reporting for the delivery of reports for both new funding sources.
  • Work with colleagues, partners & stakeholders to ensure information is correct, relevant and challenge and report back escalating issues where necessary.
  • Ensure Audit trails are maintained and compliant with funding requirements and all activities are eligible and monitored on a regular basis achieving project objectives and budget requirements
  • Reviewing and validating applicant claims for funding and monitoring spend against contractual arrangements and ensuring it is accurately recorded.
  • Liaising with Finance colleagues to ensure timely payments/invoicing.
  • Using Herts Futures CRM to maintain records of relationships and activity, supporting HF colleagues with data review and including extraction of reports for onward reporting.

About you

Essential

  • Good level of education: GCSE, A-level or Vocational equivalent. Relevant vocational qualification or technical training. May be working towards a professional qualification.
  • Ability to plan and organise work to produce a high level of output to quality standards, with a contribution to longer term planning for the service.
  • Ability to communicate and work with others to provide administrative support, and to help them understand different administrative processes and how they relate to Programme requirements.

Desirable

  • In-depth experience of monitoring and reporting against contract, maintaining audit trails and preferably knowledge of compliance of Governance arrangements for HCC & Hertfordshire Futures process/procedures (or similar organisational governance/ audit processes).
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Software or similar software including data inputting and extraction of reports.
  • Ability to plan and organise work to produce a high level of output to quality standards, with a contribution to longer term planning for the service.
