
Assistant Land Charges Officer
We are recruiting a Assistant Land Charges Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours per week

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking a highly organised individual to join the busy Land Charges Team as an Assistant Land Charges Officer. As the team consists of only two Officers, it is essential that the candidate is a flexible and considerate team member
The successful candidate will support the Land Charges Officer with the completion of Local Land Charges Searches and the registration of all Charges and Notices received from internal departments and external bodies.
Candidates will need to have excellent IT skills using a variety of packages; knowledge of a Geographical Information System (GIS) would be an advantage.
The successful candidate should have experience working within a busy environment, be able to prioritise their own workload, be able to work to tight deadlines and be able to analyse and evaluate information quickly.
The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with members of the public, professional clients and Officers throughout the Council.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- Relevant Level 2 qualification/s on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example NVQ2 Administration, GCSEs Grade A*-C.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Local Land Charges / Commons Registration service
- Ability to deliver a quality customer service, communicating with members of the public, professional persons and Officers at all levels.
