We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the Tenancy Team in the Housing Management Department supporting colleagues with tasks associated with the management of the Council’s housing stock. You will be dealing with contact from our tenants, generating letters and other correspondence and inputting data. You will also provide support to Officers within the Tenancy Team.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn. You will be given on the job training, along with your Apprenticeship course and additional training specific to the service area.
You will need to be well organised with excellent communication and IT skills and a positive attitude. You do not require previous experience in housing as you will be provided with the required training. You will however need to have excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers. If you would like a rewarding role with great development opportunities this is the apprenticeship for you.
You will undertake a level 3 Business Administration. The administration apprenticeship is with West Notts College in addition to your learning in the role. The apprenticeship duration is 18 months with up to 3 months for End Point Assessment.
The role will be based at our Urban Road offices in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Working hours are 37 hours work over 5 days (Monday to Friday).
It is essential for the successful candidate to have a good level of English, Maths and ICT. You will also need to demonstrate your communication skills, interpersonal skills and that you are able to work as a team.
