Apprentice Neighbourhood Services Support Officer
£18,000 per annum
37 hours per week (including 6 hours per week study time)
Fixed term (12 months)

This is your chance to join Blaby District Council and become a Business Administration Apprentice within our Waste Management Depot in Whetstone, Leicester.
You won’t just be “learning on the job”, you’ll be part of a team that helps keep the district clean, safe, and running smoothly every single day.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll get stuck into the day to day running of a busy local authority depot, supporting essential admin work that keeps frontline services moving. It’s fast paced, varied, and a great way to see how local government really works behind the scenes.
What you’ll gain:

What we’re looking for:
- We’re not expecting loads of experience just the right attitude:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above
- Motivation to learn and build a career in business admin
- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team
