The Council runs a fleet of vehicles ranging from cars, vans, sweepers up to HGV refuse collection vehicles. We are looking for someone with an interest in vehicle mechanics together with enthusiasm, good communication skills and attention to detail.

Working in a busy workshop environment, the successful candidate will be provided with a unique opportunity to learn and develop into a mechanic/HGV mechanic supporting the Council to effectively operate its wide range of Fleet Services.

In return, you will receive training, excellent working conditions, the opportunity to gain qualifications and valuable experience to help you develop your career.
