Location – Lynton House, IG1 1NY
Permanent – Full Time
Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.
We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the city.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Protection Task Force and work alongside the new Renters Rights Action Team. The postholder will work across enforcement teams focusing on anti-social tenants and nuisance properties that cause problems and issues for residents and communities. We are looking for an officer who can demonstrate knowledge and experience in tackling ASB and working in collaboration with internal and external partners.
This is a front facing role that will be dealing with casework and using their working knowledge and expertise to tackle anti- social behaviour, coordinate resources and contribute to joint operations and inspections.
This is non shift role but the successful candidate will be expected to work some weekends and out of hours.
