Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the city.

The Redbridge Community Protection Task Force is looking for a new and dynamic officer to join the service and lead on front facing high profile partnership work. You will work with internal and external enforcement teams and partners to coordinate action to tackle nuisance premises and locations. This is a high-profile demanding role and we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate innovation and flexibility.

The ASB Coordinator will be working with in collaboration with several different teams across Redbridge partnerships to tackle ASB, by using all the tools and legislation available to us with the aim to promote community confidence and cohesion.

The main purpose of the role is to oversee the support of all area activity in relation to ASB by providing a partnership approach and including guidance and expertise in relation to incidents, particularly with regards to the perpetrators. As an ASB Coordinator you will develop the tools to guide and direct the team in relation to ASB best practice and use new and innovative ways to tackle local issues.

We are looking for a candidate with an ASB background who will be able to guide, support and direct front line officers.
