After School Club Leader

The Governing Board of Bamford Primary School, part of The Peak Federation, are excited to invite applications for the new role of After School Club Leader.

As the ASC Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the After School Club, providing leadership to a small team. You will be the first point of contact for our families and help ensure that our school is able to meet the needs of our pupils and their families by providing a fun and high quality afterschool club.

We are seeking a ‘people person’ who likes interaction with others but who can equally work independently and manage a busy work schedule which will include:

• Record keeping and administration of the After School Club
• Food preparation and delivery (snacks only)
• Leadership and management of the afterschool club staff
• Designing and leading activities and play for the children
• Manging the Health and safety of all who attend the club, including safeguarding responsibilities
• Understand and abide by the confidential nature of the role

Most importantly, we are looking for a team player with a great sense of humour, a ‘can do attitude’ and a big warm coat! It goes without saying that you must enjoy working with children.

Full training and support will be given for the successful applicant and this post would suit someone with a business flair who will build this provision on behalf of the school. This is a new post and we are looking for someone who can create a successful and self-sustaining club, meeting the needs of our fantastic pupils and their families.
