    Advanced Practitioner – Specialist Safeguarding

    Grade 9- £54267-£58461pa (plus £4k MS payment)

    Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner – Specialist Safeguarding to join our dedicated team and lead on complex safeguarding cases.

    About the Role

    • Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding to colleagues across Children’s Services.
    • Lead on complex cases, ensuring robust risk assessments and effective safety planning.
    • Support and mentor social workers, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.
    • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding.
    • Contribute to policy development and service improvement initiatives.

    About You

    • Qualified social worker with current registration (SWE or equivalent).
    • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
    • Advanced knowledge of legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
