All About You
These roles require you to be a qualified Social Worker with two or more years’ experience, registered with SWE, and already completed your ASYE. Your SWE fee will be reimbursed! If you do not meet these requirements, your application will not be progressed.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to work in the Neighbourhoods, Reviews, MASH, Hospitals, Mental Health, CLDS teams. You will be dedicated to improving the wellbeing of people, their carers and the wider community.
Extensive knowledge and application of the legislative framework relating to Adults, including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act, is essential in this role.
As a practitioner in Camden’s Neighbourhoods, MASH, Reviews or Hospitals Teams, you will form part of a large network of professionals in an integrated setting. You will be expected to manage your own workload and resources. You will undertake assessments of risk, needs and capacity.
Within the Mental Health Teams, you will promote and embed a strengths-based approach to Social Work, contributing to a collaborative and reflective team environment. There will be opportunities to develop a wide range of skills, including coordinating Mental Health Act assessments and participating in Camden’s AMHP Duty Rota. If not already qualified, you should be willing to complete AMHP Training.
Working in Camden’s integrated Learning Disabilities Service as an experienced full time Social Worker, with at least 2 years post qualifying experience, you will be expected to manage your own workload and resources, you will undertake assessments for people with learning disabilities, assessing the client’s needs, risks and capacity and respond appropriately to support the person.
The post holder will collaborate closely with the managers and clinicians in the wider multidisciplinary team covering the following specialisms: Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychological Therapies, Speech and Language Therapy, & Children and Young People with Disabilities (0-25) services. The post holder will contribute to the First Contact (duty) system across the Learning Disabilities Service ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of care for people known to the service and their families.
Across all teams, you will have the skills to respond appropriately to unexpected events and crisis. You will have the ability to recognise signs of harm, abuse and neglect and how to manage these issues.
