
Adult Social Care Lawyer
The Post In the Adult Social Care & Financial Litigation team we are looking for a Lawyer to support the work within the Adult Social Care team. The individual will manage a caseload of adult social care work to include welfare and Deprivation of Liberty applications in the Court of Protection, Ordinary Residence disputes, threats of Judicial Review, No Recourse to Public Funds, and other casework relating to Adult Social Care. The Person We are looking for an experienced individual, used to working in a busy office within a social care team in a Local Authority, with good practical knowledge of The Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and knowledge of The Mental Health Acts, with strong organisational skills to progress cases, and manage matters in the County Court, High Court, Administrative Court and Court of Protection. Working in a very diverse borough you will be exposed to a huge variety and complex work across many interesting legal fields including community care, mental health and mental capacity law

Salary range
- £50,574 - £56,646 per year
