Greenleas Primary and Nursery School is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to work in partnership with our current administration assistant and full time Business Manager in the busy school office of our friendly and welcoming school.
This is a permanent post for 18 hrs a week over 2.5 days , 39 weeks per year starting as soon as possible. The hours on two days will be 8:00am -3:45pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and one day 3.5hrs- morning or afternoon to be agreed. Working days will need to be consecutive but days will be confirmed on appointment.

Office experience is essential along with strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills alongside the ability to deal with diverse tasks and changing priorities. The ability to work to deadlines and confidentiality are essential.
Main duties will include:
Being the first point of contact in our school office.
Maintaining a welcoming and informative reception for parents, children and visitors while ensuring school security arrangements are always complied with.
The administration of pupil admissions.
Maintaining the school information management system (Arbor).
Verbal and written communication with parents.
Monitoring and analysing pupil attendance and assisting with finance through ParentPay.
Training will be provided if required.
