Temporary Administration Assistant Vacancy

The Pines School is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Temporary Administration Assistant to join our friendly hard-working team. Alongside the Office Manager you will be the face of the school in person, on the phone, via social media and in written communication. You will be the first point of contact and it is important to us that this always reflects our school values.
This position will be a varied and busy, and you will need to be flexible to be able to react the demands of a primary school. You will have you own areas of responsibility which will include, amongst other areas, marketing and organising afterschool clubs. You will also be required, over time, to have an overview of all the office functions.
The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about supporting our families, they will have great people skills and excellent organisational & prioritising skills, the ability to relate well with primary aged children and willing to support them in all aspects. Training will be provided but experience of SIMs/FMS and Microsoft programmes would be advantageous.
The Pines Primary School is a 1-form entry primary school with a Specialist Resource Provision and a Nursery. We have children from a wide range of backgrounds and also have an above national % for pupils with SEND. We are proud of what we do to make a difference to the lives of children and their families. We use an approach of continuous provision in EYFS and KS1 as we believe in the importance of learning through play. We have also recently introduced OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) into our lunchtimes.
