About the role

An exciting role at North Northamptonshire Council within the Housing Solutions Service, the Accommodation Services Team Leader will be responsible for the management of temporary accommodation and the Council's in-house supported accommodation projects ensuring that the Council meets its statutory obligations and provides a high-quality, customer-centred housing management and support service.

Assisted by the Senior Officers, you will manage, motivate and lead team members to deliver the temporary accommodation, supported accommodation projects and tenancy support functions within the Accommodation Service achieving service excellence and positive results.

You will support the Accommodation Services Manager to ensure that there is effective joined up working across the service area and with a wide range of internal teams and partner services and organisations.

To succeed in the role, you must have proven experience managing and supporting housing related services with strong leadership and management skills to achieve service delivery and positive results. We are looking for someone who is a skilled problem solver, can act strategically and work in a collaborative partnership approach.

The role will require the post holder to be based in the office across the North Northamptonshire area full time.
