We are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our Access to Education team, supporting pupils unable to attend school due to medical needs on a full-time, term-time only basis.

About the team…
The Access to Education team is a small, supportive group of dedicated professionals based at Braccan Walk Youth Hub. We work together to support pupils facing medical barriers to education, delivering tailored learning with empathy and respect. Collaboration and shared learning are core to our ethos, we value each other’s expertise, support one another and create a positive, inclusive environment where staff and students can thrive.
Key responsibilities…
- Deliver and evaluate curriculum plans in collaboration with schools and other provisions
- Support pupil reintegration into full-time education
- Build effective relationships with pupils, families, and professionals
- Monitor progress and contribute to individual transition plans
- Promote pupil wellbeing and manage behaviour positively
