Our All Age Disability (AAD) Service is looking for passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join our amazing team and help make a meaningful impact today.
About the Role:
You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality, strength‑based social care to children and young adults aged 0–25 with learning disabilities and complex needs. Your work will include:
- Carrying out Care Act and Children and Families Act assessments
- Developing outcome‑focused support plans
- Delivering interventions that safeguard, empower, and promote independence
- Working within an innovative 0–25 model that blends children’s and adults’ legislation
- Collaborating with small, supportive teams with manageable caseloads
- Benefiting from reflective group supervision, clinical advice, comprehensive training, and strong administrative support
- Promoting the effective use of assistive technology to enhance independence and quality of life
About You:
You are committed to delivering compassionate, person‑centred social work that transforms lives. You should have:
- Professional registration with Social Work England
- Experience in social work practice, ideally with children, young adults, or individuals with disabilities
- Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to navigate complex cases
- A strength‑based approach that places individuals and families at the heart of decision‑making
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice
- Resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young adults

About the Team:
We are a service that is proud to be rated good by CQC for our work with vulnerable clients. We are a service that values and is passionate about learning and the skills that our Social Workers bring to the service. We work as a team with supportive peers and managers. The AAD service will give you the opportunity to learn all aspects of Social Work, no two days are the same
