<h3>About You</h3>
You’ll be a highly experienced professional with an extensive background in M&amp;E services, specifically in the installation, maintenance, and day-to-day management of relevant systems. A clear understanding of current laws, regulations, and statutory instruments related to consumer protection and Health and Safety is essential. You’ll ideally have extensive relevant work experience or HNC in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) or be actively working towards this qualification.
We’re looking for someone with proven staff management and contract management skills, including the ability to confidently lead technical officers, external consultants, and contractors within a performance-driven culture. You’ll have a strong grasp of budget and cost awareness, coupled with the ability to monitor and control budgets effectively and utilise complex systems.
Crucially, you’ll have experience of working with residents, involving them in monitoring and shaping services, and a background in implementing quality systems. Knowledge and experience of partnering, procurement mechanisms, and best management practices are also key.
