About the role…
As the MiCare Nurse duties and under the direction of the Assistant Team Manager, you will enhance health and social care support for MiCare service users in line with Rutland County Council policies, objectives, and standards. This role is central to promoting independence, enabling choice and control, and preventing unnecessary hospital or care home admissions.

There are exciting opportunities available to the team which enables and encourages creativity in how we can meet the needs of our older children who are looked after and our care leavers through use of the St David’s Day grant. This has, in recent years, included the opportunity for staff to plan and facilitate activities for our young people inclusive of a residential trip.

About the rolePublic Health North Northamptonshire are looking to appoint a Public Health Officer to the Public Health Children’s and Young People’s Team to work on the coordination of oral health improvement. You will have dental experience and use this to play a key part in improving the health of residents in North Northamptonshire, through prevention, early intervention and health improvement approaches across the health and social care economy.
