In our Civil / Housing Litigation Team, we are looking for a lawyer:
<ul>
<li>To provide high level and proactive expert legal advice on civil/housing litigation matters to the Council, its members, and officers.</li>
<li>To personally conduct advocacy on behalf of the council and instruct counsel as appropriate.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
The Person
The successful applicant will possess:
<ul>
<li>A current practising certificate (either as a Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive)</li>
<li>A can-do attitude</li>
<li>Strong experience in all matters relating to Civil/Housing litigation.</li>
<li>Ability to anticipate problems and solve them accordingly</li>
<li>Must be dependable and self-reliant.</li>

Role Overview 
Charnwood Borough Council’s Housing Repairs team are looking for a qualified Joiner Multi Skill, to carry out a wide range of Joinery repairs associated with the maintenance and adaptation of social housing, Council properties and public buildings.
The role is permanent and will include participation in the out-of-hours call-out service.&nbsp; A full clean driving licence is essential, and a van is supplied for Charnwood business use only.&nbsp; Tools and uniform are also provided.
What We’re Looking For:
You must have NVQ Level 3 or City &amp; Guilds in Joinery or equivalent, as well as the ability and desire to deliver high quality customer standards in line with the Council’s customer service excellence standard.
