An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for a casual leisure attendant post based at Bootle Leisure Centre, to work in the role of a lifeguard.
You are required to hold a full - current lifeguarding certificate and will be expected to provide poolside as well as dry-side area supervision. You will be required to work as part of a team, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times.&nbsp; This role requires constant supervision of the poolside; you will need to be fully focused with the ability to remain vigilant, alert, and attentive at all times.&nbsp; This position also involves the setting up of equipment to meet the needs of the programmed activities and to undertake cleaning tasks to ensure the centre is well presented to the highest standard.&nbsp;

Qualifications

The Mental Health team would like to offer Approved Mental Health Professionals the opportunity to support the Isle of Wight AMHP Service through our casual bank list. We are looking for Approved Mental Health Professionals who are approved by a Local Authority, or willing to work to be approved by the Isle of Wight Council, to cover the function of executing Mental Health Act Assessments in a variety of settings.
This post is zero-hours and would suit AMHPs who work for another Authority but would like some experience working on an island, or for AMHPs that have not practiced for a while but would be willing to undertake the training to become approved by the Isle of Wight Council.
The ethos of the post is to cover AMHP shifts in case of vacancies or sickness as part of the 24-hour on-call rota, including evening and weekend hours and bank holidays.
We will provide you with an induction to the systems used and resources of the island before you will be expected to work on your own, in addition to support from the AMHP manager to discuss any areas of practice concerns.

Assistant Site Manager
The leadership team and governors of Springwell Park Primary School are looking to appoint a skilled, committed, reliable, self-motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our hardworking team.&nbsp; We are looking for a resourceful and enthusiastic person with the necessary practical abilities to maintain our building to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of our Site Manager to ensure that all site activities are conducted efficiently and safely. This will include the&nbsp;&nbsp; management of the designated premises, including the building maintenance, cleanliness, security and maintenance of furnishings, fixtures plant and heavy equipment in order to maintain a healthy and safe environment for students, staff and other users of the school’s premises.

The ideal candidate will foster excellent relationships with all members of staff at all levels in the school to provide a ‘can do’ attitude to setting up rooms for various school activities and events and oversee external contractors working on the designated premises; whilst assisting the Site Manager with compliance with statutory regulation, ensuring we maintain safe places for our students, colleagues and visitors.
Hours will be 1.45pm – 6.15pm Monday to Friday term time only, plus up to 10 additional late nights each year to accommodate Governors Meetings and Parents Evenings, all planned in advance.

Our Team:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional to be at the heart of public service while looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Following a significant increase in demand for support from qualified legal practitioners over the last 2 years across the authority, there has been a review of the service and you will be joining a newly developed Adults Social Care legal team and working alongside our Child Care &amp; Education Team. You will be joining a supportive and knowledgeable legal team that is committed to delivering advice in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring best value for the Council while helping to meet the complex and evolving needs of the community.
