In this role, you will be responsible for calculating service charges, reserve funds, shared ownership rent, and ground rent, while ensuring that our residents receive top-notch customer service.
Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with colleagues to produce accurate estimated and actual invoices, maintaining the service charge database, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will be instrumental in collating financial records for property service charges and managing accountancy functions related to billing and recharging. Additionally, you will issue Section 20B notices and provide supporting information for leaseholder inquiries, disputes, and legal challenges.
We are looking for candidates with extensive knowledge of leasehold management and financial processes, including preparation of annual property accounts and an understanding of S20 consultation processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite are essential. Your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
As part of our team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our Homeownership Services, prepare performance reports, and assist with budget monitoring. You will also have the opportunity to engage with residents and stakeholders through meetings and inspections, ensuring that we maintain high standards of service.

Our procurement team is divided into 3 main category areas: Construction and Environment, Adult and Children Public Health and Corporate Services.

Midday Supervisor

The High Peak South Adult Social Work Long Term Team are based in Buxton and we are seeking to recruit an experienced full time Social Worker to join our friendly community-based team of Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners. The successful candidate will be expected to work their 37 hrs Monday to Friday each week. The team are highly supportive and operates on a largely agile, flexible basis across High Peak area of Derbyshire, utilising link worker and champion roles to carry out Care Act (2014) face-to-face and telephone assessments and reviews. The right applicant will need to evidence high levels of autonomy and accountability with timely recording of interventions to progress overall case management. Applicants must ensure they can demonstrate the skills to build positive, professional links with others to work closely with our partner agencies, such as Health, Police, Housing and PVI sectors. The ability to identify signposting opportunities is necessary to support carers, maximise independence and individual wellbeing with a focus on promoting person-centred, strength-based outcomes. At times the role requires Duty cover, it is necessary to be able to respond to changing situations, to effectively triage and assess incoming work to support Adults and their carers - who may require a more urgent response. It is vital to be able to evidence experience and skills to manage a complex caseload whilst meeting your statutory duties in a safe, accountable and cost-effective manner to meet Care Act (2014) eligible needs alongside local authority statutory duties of care. It is an advantage to have experience of taking the lead on Section 42 Safeguarding, chairing multi agency meetings, such as Multi-Agency Adult Risk Management (MARM) and completing Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments, including Best Interest meetings, COP-DOLs and court work – though support, training and experience will be available for the right candidate if you wish to develop your skills in these areas.
