Also support care leavers age 18 and over with an EHCP.We are looking for an experienced EHC Co-ordinator to lead on our year 11+ Phase Transfer activities for the coming year, to support our Statutory SEND Teams to ensure that young people have a suitable provision named in their EHCP by the 31 March deadline. Successful candidate will need to understand college and other post-16 FE and be able to negotiate with providers.<h4>About the role</h4>The Education Health &amp; Care Coordinator (EHC Coordinator) role is highly process-driven. The role involves managing and processing EHC plans within a complex legal framework to tight timescales. It involves implementing legal requirements as part of a meticulous review of documents, then creating, reviewing and amending plans. Whilst the role does involve communication and ongoing dialogue with practitioners, parents and carers, this is primarily related to statutory processes. The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and well-qualified Cover Supervisor to join our highly effective team from September 2025, to provide cover for teachers in the event of short- or long-term absences from school. This role will require you to deliver lessons using resources provided by the teacher or subject leader, and support students to complete the work to the best of their ability. As a valued member of staff, you will be able to provide the consistency and continuity that our students require. &nbsp;
The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting, excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to contribute positively to student learning. As a varied support role, you will be expected to work in conjunction with a range of teachers and subject leaders to develop an understanding of the curriculum.&nbsp; You will have the skills and knowledge to deliver support in a range subjects, be flexible and adaptable to cope with the fact pace of a busy school environment and be able to develop positive relationships with students and staff alike.
