Passenger Transport Services (PTS) Coventry, is responsible for delivering transport services to approximately 1200 passengers daily, to schools and day care centres with special educational needs and/or physical and/or sensory impairments.&nbsp; PTS have a team of over 180 staff from casual to F/T, supporting the service with 80 accessible minibus-type vehicles. What is the job role? The job involves providing transportation for some of our most vulnerable people across Coventry. This can involve manual handling of large wheelchairs and loading them on and off the minibuses. You will be dealing with a range of challenging behaviours, potentially daily. The First Contact Team, engages with citizens across the Staffordshire county, carrying out strengths based, outcome focused assessments via the telephone and virtual technology. The service also deliveries a single point of access for all age carers who are supported to access information, advice and guidance. Assessments for all age carers are undertaken in person across the county. The Care Act 2014 compliant assessments determine citizens assessed eligible needs while promoting their assets and facilitating their independence.&nbsp;First Contact develops care and support plans with people and works with Brokerage to put services in place to meet their residual eligible social care needs.As a Senior Social Worker you'll provide professional support and supervision to Social Workers and non-registered social care staff undertaking assessment, reviews, support planning, case management and safeguarding activities as part of the First Contact and All Age Carers Service. What is the job role? Coventry City Council has been investing in its Fostering Service for several years and has seen both numerical growth and significant improvement in practice as a result. &nbsp;More than half of our children in care are now cared for by a carer approved by Coventry. &nbsp;There has been investment both in our mainstream fostering teams and in ensuring that wherever possible children can remain living with their extended network via a connected persons arrangement. &nbsp;The service has a commitment to working closely with our foster carers and with children’s social work teams to ensure that fostered children are well cared for and achieve best outcomes. We are driving innovative, community‑led, and environmentally sustainable approaches to flood risk management — and we’re looking for an exceptional Project Officer to help deliver it.
As Project Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering this high‑profile programme, with full leadership of Work Package 6 – Dissemination. You will coordinate and manage activities across multiple teams, external partners, authorities, and coastal communities to ensure the programme’s work is shared widely, with flair and maximum impact.
You’ll lead the creation of digital platforms, manage social media and public‑facing communication, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and ensure the programme’s outputs are accessible and impactful. This is a unique opportunity to influence coastal resilience at a regional scale.

We are seeking to employ a Personal Assistant to provide respite support for a young person with complex additional needs. The role is for 6–12 hours per week, offered flexibly across weekdays, weekends and school holidays. The hourly rate is £14.14 per hour.
The successful applicant will provide one-to-one support in the home and community, supporting engagement in meaningful activities and ensuring the young person’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times.
