The individual must be suitably qualified and experienced. The role will involve monitoring and proactive patrol via view screens.&nbsp; The individual will be required to operate all the equipment, cameras, radios and to comply with relevant legislation, CCTV code of practice all operational control room procedures at all times, on a rotating 7 days a week shift pattern including, nights, weekends &amp; bank holidays including Christmas
The CCTV control room receives out-of hour's emergency calls. You will be responsible for ensuring these calls are dealt with effectively and implement the Council’s 24-hour emergency call out arrangements when required.
Applicants must be able to speak clear, concise and be able to understand and act fast and efficient in an emergency.

From 3 separate depots, Green Sefton provides our communities with a clean, green Borough including parks and greenspaces, nature reserves, trees, and woodlands, play and recreational facilities, municipal golf courses and our coast, beaches, and countryside, which include specially protected sites and landscapes, benefitting the health and wellbeing of residents, visitors, investors, and nature.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Working almost exclusively in outdoor environments, the work involves a variety of duties, examples can include; lifting and carrying, dealing with the public, using tools and equipment, cash handling, grass cutting, cleansing and driving, depending on location and business needs.
Applicants should ideally hold a full clean driving licence.&nbsp;
All successful applicants will be assigned to a team/depot to report to at the start/finish of each day. Duties may vary in location and in accordance with business needs, e.g. working on different sites from time to time. An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Ranger 3 Maintenance operative, Grade D to work in the Land Management Operations Team, Green Sefton.
Green Sefton provides our communities with a clean, green Borough including parks and greenspaces, nature reserves, trees, and woodlands, play and recreational facilities, municipal golf courses and our coast, beaches, and countryside, which include specially protected sites and landscapes, benefitting the health and wellbeing of residents, visitors, investors, and nature.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The role involves working outdoors undertaking a wide range of maintenance tasks, using a variety of tools and equipment, supporting volunteers, and dealing with the public.
The role sits in the Green Sefton Services Team, within the In-House Operational Service based in our Hesketh Park depot as a main base but providing boroughwide support as required.
This is an exciting time to join the team and support the ongoing development of the Land Management Teams operations.

The Business Support Team is the engine room that supports the entire Planning Service. The team validates and registers all planning applications, processes Planning Appeals, plays a key role in the administration and monitoring of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and is responsible for leading our programme of process review, system updates as well as driving and monitoring our overall service performance.&nbsp;
You could be starting out in your career or have established skills in providing the support within a Planning or other local authority department. Experience of validating and registering planning applications would be an advantage, but don’t worry if you don’t have any experience as we provide a full training package.
