We are recruiting for a Bereavement Services Officer to assist with the day-to-day operation and provision of the service including, Cremation and Burial paperwork, leased memorials, filing, typing; to provide cover for sickness and leave: to assist with reception duties and to provide support to the Cremation Technicians, which could include training to carry out cremations. Many of these plants were collected in the wild and some were among the first of their kind to be grown outside of their native environment. The garden was set up as a charitable trust by the gardens founders and Worthing Borough Council was made the sole trustee. Your role will be to form part of the team of four horticulturists that care for and maintain this prestigious collection. You will work with the Head Gardener and Curator, the Visitor Experience Manager as well as a large number of volunteers. You will be practical, skilful and knowledgeable, preferably with experience of working with alpines as well as the propagation of a broad number of plant types. The Role:&nbsp;
As a Senior Planning Officer you will have the opportunity to become involved in varied and challenging casework focusing on larger housing and commercial applications, as well as providing support and advice to both colleagues in other departments and Elected Members to deliver the Council’s priorities. You will also be required to provide excellent pre-application advice to applicants, developers and architects.
Ideally you will have experience of not only managing a casework of challenging planning applications, but have also been involved in negotiating s106 agreements and presenting at Committees.&nbsp; Experience of hearings and public inquiry appeal work is also preferable.

About the role
&nbsp;
Rugby Borough Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Income Officer to focus on income collection from within the Housing Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team where we want our tenants to succeed.
&nbsp;
You’ll support and enhance the housing service that meets our purpose; to enable our tenants to succeed and sustain their tenancy.&nbsp; As part of the wider team you’ll focus on enabling our tenants to sustain their tenancies through both proactive and reactive rent collection.
&nbsp;
This is a part time role, 18.5 hours a week. Working hours will be Wednesday 9am-12.30pm, Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-5pm.

About you
&nbsp;
Ideally, you will possess a good working knowledge, experience and understanding around all aspects of income management and legislation that underpins it. A key aspect to this role is the collection and management of rent arrears and former tenant arrears and a good level of experience and understanding is fundamental.&nbsp;

The ideal candidate will take a flexible and holistic approach in ensuring we assist our customers in sustaining their tenancy.&nbsp;

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Planning Officer (Policy) to play a vital role in delivering a busy planning policy service. You will support the Planning Policy Manager, deputising in their absence, and lead on complex, sensitive, and corporate projects. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future development of the Borough through the Local Plan and related policy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead on complex planning policy projects and negotiations.</li>
<li>Monitor and review the Local Plan and related frameworks.</li>
<li>Prepare reports, guidance, and statements on planning policy matters.</li>
<li>Represent the Council at meetings, inquiries, and public exhibitions.</li>
<li>Provide expert planning policy advice to colleagues, Members, and the public.</li>
<li>Manage and mentor team members when required.</li>
<li>Contribute to regeneration and enhancement programmes.</li>
</ul>
About You You will have:
<ul>
<li>A recognised degree in Town Planning and RTPI membership.</li>
<li>Significant post-qualification experience in planning policy.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of planning policy law and procedures.</li>
<li>Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>
</ul>
